Run a critique that scores aesthetic merit and process ethics separately — and record both scores so a beautiful unethical piece cannot hide.

Protocol sheet with two score columns (craft / ethics) and prompts. One critique session with at least four peers and one teacher. Pieces may be from this bank; tooling statements required before critique starts.

Only talking about composition. Ethics reduced to “I wouldn’t do that” with no criteria. Scores averaged into one number that erases the point. Author defending instead of listening for the first round.

Protocol sheet; anonymized score table for the session; two-paragraph facilitation reflection; a revision to the protocol based on what failed; and a note on how exhibition eligibility depends on the ethics score in your class rules.
