The curriculum is written in four bands, but you teach a grade. Pick yours and you’ll get the unit sequence, the pacing written for that grade, and every Virginia CS SOL code for that grade — including the ones we don’t cover.
Coverage, stated plainly
Across grades K-8, From Sand to Agents addresses 55 of the 136 Virginia CS SOL codes (40%).
This is a supplemental AI curriculum, not a full computer science course. It goes deep on how machines learn and on the ethics of using them; it does not teach block-based programming, networking, or screen-time management. We publish the gaps because a coverage table that only shows hits isn’t worth reading.

A note on grades 9-12
Virginia does not set grade-by-grade computer science standards for grades 9-12. It sets three course-level standard sets — Computer Science Foundations, Computer Science Principles, and Computer Science Programming. Pick the course you teach, not the grade you teach.
See the scope & sequence for the high-school course map, or the full standards crosswalk across all bands.
