The curriculum is written in four bands, but you teach a grade. Pick yours and you’ll get the unit sequence, the pacing written for that grade, and every Virginia CS SOL code for that grade — including the ones we don’t cover.
Coverage, stated plainly
Across grades K-8, From Sand to Agents addresses 7 of 7 Virginia CS SOL codes that explicitly name AI or machine learning (100%). Overall K–8 coverage remains 56 of 136 (41%) — this is a supplemental AI curriculum, not a full computer science course.
The AI/ML-bearing set is every K–8 VA CS SOL code whose standards reference entry carries an ai_note (lettered AI/ML sub-bullets): 4.CSY.3, 5.DA.3, 6.CSY.3, 6.DA.4, 6.IC.6, 7.DA.2, 7.IC.5. It does not teach block-based programming, networking, or screen-time management. We publish the full-strand gaps because a coverage table that only shows hits isn’t worth reading.

A note on grades 9-12
Virginia does not set grade-by-grade computer science standards for grades 9-12. It sets three course-level standard sets — Computer Science Foundations, Computer Science Principles, and Computer Science Programming. Pick the course you teach, not the grade you teach.
