Why it costs less

A classroom license is a flat $499 a year for one teacher and one grade band, the four-session club kit is free, and the lesson arrives written so a teacher opens it instead of building it.

A flat license, not a fee per student

Classroom is $499 a year: one teacher, one grade band (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, or 9-12), with the units, print-ready teacher editions, family letters, and a standards crosswalk export.

A school license is $2,500 a year, fixed, for unlimited teachers. A division license is from $12,000 a year for every school in the division. The final Division price is confirmed at quote based on division size. On Classroom and School, adding teachers does not change the bill.

The free pilot is one school, one grade band (K-2, 3-5, or 6-8; high school is not included), for one semester. It includes the teacher editions, assessments, and family letters for that band, and you can stop with no charge. Invoiced licenses renew only with the buyer's written confirmation. Classroom renews automatically every year at $499 until canceled. You can cancel anytime in the billing portal (Manage billing). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term. No prorated refunds.

Free to open, and no devices required

The four K-2 student lessons are free to read. Teach the Machine (K-2) and From Silicon to Chips (grades 6-8) are full public editions, including the teacher materials. A separate print-and-teach algorithms lesson for grades 3-5 is a complete 45-minute class — teacher guide, timing, materials, exit ticket, and family letter — and it needs no devices.

The after-school club kit is four sessions for ages 8-11. Each script is about 35 minutes, on paper and pencils. The notes assume you are not a computer-science teacher. Any email can request it. A club kit is free, and it is not part of a classroom or division license.

What a teacher does not have to build

This is a supplemental AI curriculum. It supports Virginia CS SOL implementation. It is not a full computer-science program.

Each licensed unit ships with a student lesson, a print-ready teacher edition, an assessment, and a family letter, all rendered from the same source. VA CS SOL and VDOE AI Guidance alignment lives in that source, and the crosswalk is generated from it.

K-2 lessons are paced as two sessions of 20 minutes, unplugged. For the club, prep is reading the session the night before and putting the printables in a folder. If the meeting is only 20 minutes, the script says to do the hook and the last demo.
